Student Ministry

We aim to disciple our students and equip our parents.

Our Mission

We strive to disciple our students so that they have their own personal, growing faith in Christ and to equip our parents to raise up their families in a Biblical manner. We desire for God’s Word to dwell in the hearts of our students, to cultivate environments where students can build relationships with their peers and our adult leaders and to create opportunities for students to serve others. The HBC Student Ministry recognizes that parents are the primary disciple makers in the lives of our students. It is our role as the Church to equip parents with the tools and strategies to fulfill their God-given role.

Who it's for

Our Student Ministry is aimed at reaching 6th through 12th grade students. We recognize that students are at different points in their Christian journeys so we provide opportunities and events that engage them where they are at. Whether a student has gone to church their whole life or they have never been, this Student Ministry is for them. We offer different services for Middle School and High School students.

“I definitely think I get more out of the lessons than the kids do. God uses the lessons and the kids responses to minister to me.”
Trish Baker

Parents and leaders are welcomed!

The father and mother are the primary disciple-makers for a student and we want to partner with you to lead your student to grow in spiritual faith and maturity. We need leaders of all ages to come alongside and help us build up our young people. Here are some ways you can do this:

Begin by praying for our ministry. Our students, leaders and staff need constant prayer, especially from the parents of the students. Consider how you can lift up these groups in prayer to God. Disciple your students at home! We want to partner with you and equip you to do this with resources, encouragement and support. Let us know how we can help. Join our Student Ministry team. We always need college students and young adults to serve on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
