A Message from Eddie...

April 14, 2019

Sherry and I are grateful to God for the 32 years in ministry together here at Harrodsburg Baptist Church. This church has been a spiritual marker for us because it was the first church we joined as a married couple. And it is the only church we have served together in ministry. God gave us two wonderful children, Rachel and Benjamin. God used this church to minister to them as they grew up and came to know the Lord here in this body of believers. I can never thank you all enough for the way you have allowed God to impact our family. We have walked together from mountain top to valley and back again and again. God has been faithful in every season of this church. Although far from perfect I can honestly say that this church has some of the godliest and most servant minded people I have ever known. You may never how your faithfulness and encouragement, kept us in the ministry. God has used you to challenge, to instruct and to inspire us to do what we were called to do. We have shared together thousands of worship experiences in weddings, funerals, concerts, musicals, revivals, instrumental and choirs of all kinds. In spite of my mis-steps and mistakes I pray that it was clear, that our intention has always been to point others to the One who is the audience of our worship. So, it is with gratitude and love for you all, that Sherry and I announce our retirement from full time ministry at Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Our last Sunday with you as music ministers will be Sunday May 5. We appreciate your prayers for us as we begin this new path in our adventure with God.
